In English, students began to work on their end of unit project. Students were to create and advertise their own bracelet company in groups of three. They were to create a print and commercial advertisement. Each ad must include several specific linguistic elements such as humor, facts and statistics and expert opinion. Also, student determined audience-specific presentational devices such as color and font choice, images, charts and diagrams.
In Social Studies, students began to plan out a model city. In order to plan their city, they were to use their knowledge of settlement layout and site factors.
