In English, students continued to work on their projects. They spent time working on the presentational devices that they planned to use within their advertisements.
In Science, students learned about the three different types of heat transfer: conduction, convection, and radiation. They watched how popcorn is made using these three types of transfer: in a microwave, in a oil, and in a popcorn machine. Then, students conducted a mini experiment where they were given two cubes of ice and used various methods, based upon what they learned about heat transfer, to determine which method would melt the ice fastest.
In Social Studies, students continued to work on their model city.
