In English, students began working on their storefronts, which had to be creative and inviting.
In Social Studies, students worked on their model city's infrastructure, such as major roads.
In Science, students did an experiment involving the rate of heat transfer. Students had cups consisting of three different types of materials: steel, paper, and glass. There was a cup with cool water and a cup with warm water for each material type. Students took the room temperature and the initial water temperature of each cup. Every five minutes, students recorded the temperature of each cup. Then, students graphed and analyzed their results. Lastly, they wrote a conclusion regarding which material was a conductor or insulator based on the rate of heat transfer.
