In English, students continued to learn about abstract nouns. During guided reading, they played abstract nouns go-fish. Once students found matching pairs of abstract nouns, they had to use the abstract noun correctly in a sentence in order to earn a point.
In art, grade 6 learned the difference between geometric and abstract shapes. They used this knowledge to create an abstract art piece utilizing various types of paper.
Aleyna, Angelique, and Sarah presented information about bullying to the other primary students. For their action, they created bracelets, flags, and keychains to raise money for an anti-bullying organization.
Students participated in a literature circle on The Wringer.
